She is well aware that digital fabrication issue is  related to the local manufacturing industry. Therefore, she has been proactively collaborating with industry partners since her student period. She has worked with the Taiwan Textile Research Institute to develop spray forming process design applications. Cooperating with leading 3D filament brand CHIMEI | MODEX to promote the utilization of 3D printing technology and develop 3D printing product prototypes, and completed the interior design through advanced manufacturing with the support of Taiwan Valchromat.

Since 2018, She has been an adjunct lecturer in the Department of Fashion Design at Shih Chien University in Taipei for teaching digital fabrication. She brings the ability of integration and analysis from architectural training into fashion design programs. Due to the good response in teaching and creation, she has recently been invited as a designer to participate in Taipei Fashion Week SS20. Her work, "Girls," as the first 3D printing apparel series in a large, formal fashion event in Taiwan, has got sponsorships and supports from additive manufacturing and clothing industries.

Undergoing those unique experiences, Echo Chen has a strong willingness to work for a new generation of designers or digital craftsmen in the future.
